Obituary for Helen P. Snow (Metz)

Helen P. (Metz) Snow, of Bristol, passed away Tuesday, August 23, 2016 peacefully at the age of 98 at Village Gate of Farmington. Helen was the wife of the late Eugene C. Snow and the daughter of the late Thomas and Grace (Bush) Metz. She was born in Bristol on April 7, 1918 and lived in Bristol until 2013. She retired from New Departure in the 1980’s. Helen was a member of The Congregational Church of Plainville. She leaves three nieces, Roxanne Simmons of Massachusetts, Mary Lou O’Rourke of Washington State, and Nancy Metz of Arizona. She also leaves her good friend and longtime caregiver, Gilman Cote and her friends, Muriel Cote, Dottie Cote and Roland Cote. Helen Was predeceased by her two brothers, Lester and Robert Metz and a niece, Lisa Louise Metz. There are no calling hours. Private burial will be in West Cemetery, Bristol. A memorial service will be held at The Congregational Church of Plainville at a later date. DuPont Funeral Home, 25 Bellevue Ave., Bristol, is in charge of arrangements.
